Hello and welcome to my blog!

My name is Susan and I‘ve been a hiring manager for over thirty years. I’ve seen lots of great people have trouble with their job searches and work lives, just because they’re missing a few pieces of the puzzle.

I can’t always tell people what I think they need to hear while at work. If I’ve just met you, you probably don’t want to hear how I’m not going to hire you because you were screaming profanities into your phone on the street right outside my office. Or how the way you answered your phone when I called you to arrange an interview made me decide immediately that I didn’t want you on my team. 

These were probably great people, but they didn’t give themselves a chance for me, or another hiring manager, to see that.

This is what I mean by Job Advice That No One Else Will Give You. 

Employers need committed, talented people for all positions. I want to help you show that side of yourself.

Whatever your field, I can help you have the greatest possible chance of getting the interview, succeeding on the job, or coming back from a difficult employment situation.
